Description of services
Every driver is provided with a 24-hour helpline number that is available 24 hours a day, giving you practical assistance as well as full telephone support in the event of an insured accident or car breakdown.
Full management of invoices received from suppliers: assessing the accuracy of incoming invoices (whether the invoice received corresponds to the work ordered). One invoice is submitted for additional work carried out during the month.
AVIS informs about the actual mileage matching the contract mileage. If there is a deviation from the planned contract mileage, AVIS informs the customer and offers a solution. Mileage control is carried out on the basis of the service invoices and/or on the basis of the GPS system, if installed on the car.
AVIS stores and transfers spare car keys to the customer as and when required (needed).
AVIS takes care of the car purchase and registration.
AVIS organises and manages the return of the car to the buyer (at the end of the contract period) and represents the client’s interests.
AVIS takes care of car insurance and servicing.

- CASCO insurance
KASCO insurance for the entire rental period The car is insured on terms agreed with the client.
- Insurance and claims monitoring and management
AVIS administers the insurance policies and insures the cars with TPVCA and KASCO insurance for the entire rental period. AVIS provides full assistance to the customer from the moment the customer reports the accident until the car is handed over to the customer after repair. AVIS provides all the necessary documentation, organises the repair work and represents the client’s interests in negotiations with valuers and garages.
AVIS organises the compulsory technical inspection of your car.
- Organisation and administration of compulsory roadworthiness tests
AVIS keeps track of the due dates for the mandatory technical inspection and informs the customer.
- Costs of compulsory roadworthiness tests
The cost of the compulsory roadworthiness test is included in the monthly rental fee, according to the official price list (in Latvia, the use of the car is included).
- X (quantity) tyre set(s)
X (quantity) The cost of a set(s) of winter or summer tyres is included in the monthly premium and the number of tyres is shown on the Cover Sheet.
- Winter and summer tyres for the entire rental period
AVIS takes care of the tyres throughout the rental period, taking into account normal wear and tear and the agreed rental mileage.
- Maintenance and condition monitoring of non-seasonal tyres
Non-seasonal tyres are stored in the AVIS warehouse. The customer is informed about the condition of the stored tyres and is provided with optimal solutions for their replacement.
- Fitting and balancing seasonal tyres
AVIS takes care of tyre fitting and balancing twice a year. The AVIS Service Centre informs the customer’s responsible person or each driver (as agreed) of the start of the seasonal tyre fitting and the optimal time for replacement is agreed.
AVIS takes care of regular maintenance in accordance with the official manufacturer’s instructions.
- Cost of regular maintenance
The cost of regular maintenance (TA) is included in the monthly payment, based on the chosen rental period and mileage according to the official manufacturer’s information.
AVIS manages and organises regular maintenance, repairs and other services. By contacting the AVIS Service Centre, the customer is provided with a full range of technical support and can book a scheduled maintenance, repair or other service at a time that suits them.
AVIS organises a vehicle health check and informs the customer (if agreed) based on the information received from the companies carrying out the regular maintenance or servicing.
AVIS takes care of repairs or maintenance work based on normal wear and tear.
- Normal depreciation costs
The cost of any parts that wear out naturally when the car is operated according to the manufacturer’s requirements (brake pads, wipers, discs, etc.), wheel alignment, parts not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty and any other parts that affect the car’s performance are included in the monthly premium.
AVIS ensures that the car has an extended warranty, based on the manufacturer’s or official dealer’s terms.
AVIS provides a replacement car if the activity rental car is not available and this service is included in the list of services. The replacement car is only available in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia within 24 hours of the accident.
Carrying out the agreed service work on the car (regular servicing, additional servicing, tyre fitting, exterior washing and interior cleaning) The AVIS Service Centre provides a pick-up and delivery service. The pick-up/delivery service must be agreed and booked in advance. This service is provided for work included in the monthly payment and is described on the Cover Sheet.
AVIS issues the fuel card, pays the bill and provides the customer with a monthly invoice and a detailed statement of fuel card expenditure for the previous month.
AVIS administers payment systems (e.g. Mobile Parking) and invoices the customer.
AVIS takes care of car washing and/or interior cleaning through AVIS partners.
AVIS provides parking on the territory of Vilnius Airport. This service must be arranged in advance, and the customer has the possibility to order (by prior arrangement) additional services that can be carried out while the car is stored at the airport, such as: car washing, tyre remounting, regular maintenance.
AVIS takes care of the installation and administration of the GPS system through AVIS partners.
AVIS administers taxes related to car use (company car tax, etc.).
The service is provided to a customer who has booked a performance rental car, but until the car arrives, we guarantee mobility. Temporary cars are provided from the AVIS short-term rental fleet.
AVIS operating lease customers enjoy special terms and offers for short-term rentals worldwide.
AVIS provides the client with the reports requested and discussed by the client, related to the fleet, contract conditions, technical condition, insured events, etc.
